BINGWA Magazine is published by Child Africa, a child support non-profit organization. The project was created to provide a vehicle for the dissemination of focused, responsible, interactive and wholesome products for the Children of Africa. On realizing that majority of African children did not have enough material to enhance their reading and writing culture, BINGWA Magazine was established to helps feed their curiosity and creativity.
BINGWA Magazine is targeted at upper primary school children (aged 9-14), and is currently distributed for free to schools in Uganda and Kenya with the rest of Africa set for the very near future. The Magazine is published thrice a year to coincide with the school terms. The online version is available at www.bingwa.info which is an interactive website where children can engage in different activities, get information on upcoming events as well as access copies of previous issues of the Magazine
